Religious Education (PREP)
Here at St Joseph, our PREP or Preparation in Religious Education Program, is offered to children ages four through seventeen.
Pre-K Classes
Our Pre-K class meets Sunday, from 10:00am – 10:45am. Classes begin mid September 2023, and will continue through mid May, 2024. Registration opens August 19th, 2023 online here on our website. See the ‘Religious Education Registration” tab to sign up!
K-8 Classes
Our Kindergarten through eighth grade classes meet on Wednesdays from 6:45pm-8:00pm. Classes begin September 20th, 2023 and will run through May 8th, 2024.
Second Grade students focus on preparation for the Sacrament of First Communion along with the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Eighth grade students focus on preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Both sacraments are received in the spring of 2024. Our confirmation class is open for anyone between grades eighth up to senior year of high school who have yet to receive the Sacrament.

What is the cost?
Cost is $50 for one child, $80 for two, $100 for three, $120 for four or more. However, if your child is going to be preparing for a sacrament, there is an additional $30 cost to cover the professional photography the day of their reception.
